We are Mr. Pink... A band based on Steve Buscemi's character in Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs." We are a 4-piece punk rock band comin out of the safe streets of Mississauga, Ontario. Formed in March 2007, when Drummer Steve Heretic (of deceased Punk band The Heretics) and co-worker Ricardo Vazquez (Lead Guitar) decided to start a band à la Screeching Weasel and Blink 182 (Pre-1998.. You know.. Before they sucked). After adding ex-vocalist of The Heretics, Paul Heretic (Bass), and Mike Carnage (Rhythm Guitar) Mr. Pink needed a lead singer. Multiple names were brought up, but we decided that Seb Marziali would fit nicely as lead vocals. Time passed, Mr. Pink played some shows in and around Toronto, including Mississauga's The Basement, Brampton's Hype and Downtown Toronto's Kathedral and El Mocambo. We recorded our first EP with friend Ian Incorporated of the band Corporation in October of 2007. To date we have played alongside local bands P.D.H., Pantychrist, Shit Kickers, Stop Drop n Skank and others. In January 2008, we were interviewed by the new Toronto Punk Rock Fanzine "Addicted Fanzine," and our interview should be available in the upcoming issue! In January, we also underwent a line up change..Meaning Seb left the band and we decided to split up the vocals amongst ourselves and sing our tunes without a lead singer. There is no bad blood between us and Seb, it's just how things go..And he is also starting a new band..So look out for them!! Recently Mike Carnage quit the band, and a close friend and ex band mate of Steve and Paul's named Dan (Bass player of The Heretics) has taken over on guitar. So that about sums up the History of Mr. Pink to date. In just under a year we have had the pleasure of playing with some great bands and meeting some tottaly rad people and we look forward to what ever comes our way tomorrow...And the day after that...And the day after that...And the day after that...And so on...
