THE ATOMIC RAVENS WARN EARTH OF IMPENDING DOOM

Atomic Ravens warn NATO of impending doom from Space-Aliens!!
Forming in 2003, Toronto natives, Mick Srivastava and Rob Clarkson decided to pursue an endeavor that called for honesty, musical freedom and giant rock riffage. Drawing on the creative verve that was 70s prog-stoner rock, and fusing it with a contemporary hard-edged dynamic, The Atomic Ravens have been loosening sphincter muscles ever since their humble beginnings.
Emerging from the remnants of their previous band, Innerstate, Mick and Rob wanted to pursue this idea of musical freedom further. Not willing to compromise on this concept, the two would eventually welcome bassist/keyboardist, Greg Shean to the fold and begin their epic voyage into the sonic rock landscape.
The Atomic Ravens, while technically dazzling on stage, as well as on record, also achieve a coherent balance that is countered by inventive songwriting. Recounting tales that range from science-fiction and the fear of the modern world, to that of the struggles within, the band are able to create stylistically different songs and unify them with one common thematic element: honesty.
Enter long time friend, Producer/Engineer Darius Szczepaniak (Sum 41, Big Sugar, Edwin). Working with Szczepaniak, the Ravens managed to capture a sonic journey with its only mission being rhythmic, melodic and harmonic exploration. The 14 song album entitled, “Afraid of the Machines” has just been released, and the band promises everything from heavy driving grooves to trippy epic adventures that will leave the listener with the ability to rock out hard, and to finally unclench. Clean out your insides, ladies and gentlemen, and make way for The Atomic Ravens.
"...what will really smoke you are the grinding riffs and powerful vocals. This band definitely sounds dedicated to creating a Revival Rock sound that will soon sweep the nation."
