Michael A.C. Johnson, Jr. is affectionately known as,"Brother Michael" or "Mike-Mike". Michael is a native of East Palo Alto, CA was born on February 28th, 1990. He grew up at the Open Door Church of God in Christ, Lifeline Outreach Ministry COGIC and Union Star Missionary Baptist Church. At 7 years of age, He was involved with organizing Choirs, Church Ministries, and Youth Ministries. At 8 years old, Brother Michael began singing gospel music! Now Celebrating 6 years of ministry, and 11 years of music ministry. While people have been blessed by his ministry, He has graced the stage with many well-known recording artist, and has been selected to sing with many of the top names of Gospel music. Brother Michael continues to share the word of God with everyone who comes to see him. He believes God blessed him, and wants to share the faith. A member of New Sweet Home COGIC in East Palo Alto, CA and The Gospel 4 Life Ministry Family Church in AZ, a choir member of West Coast Praise Community Choir, and Founder of his own music organization The M. J. Gospel Music Foundation, which was founded in 2005 in East Palo Alto, CA. Michael has received a host of many certificates and awards from his community, schools, churchesm and other programs.An Affiliate Student at Mesquite High School, and East Valley Institute of Technology. Recently, he served as an Amassador, A Peer Leader, and Mediator at his former high school at East Palo Alto High School in Menlo Park, CA. He says, “I just simply love doing what I do, living a simple life, which means having no drama.Having been blessed to write 7 ministry books, 12 songs, performed at The Bobby Jones Gospel Artist Retreat in Las Vegas and Florida. Brother Michael is working as a independent solo artist, whose own a mission to reach the goal of an international artist. A Few of Michael's desires are: to finish school, attend a 4 year university, and become a great somebody in the years to come! Currently he is finishing his brand new cd, “Brother Michael & Friends Live & Unplugged” which features recording artist, musicians, and producers.
