He later discovered his singing voice as well as the piano and organ. While honing his talents in church, Demetrius began forming his own local groups such as: The Cathedral Boys, As One and the Demetrius Tolefree Singers.Demetrius has been featured on several projects. Credits include Lawrence Matthews and Friends (1995) and Bibleway Christian Fellowship (1997 & 2001). Demetrius has played for: Dorinda Clark-Cole, Twinkie Clark, Ricky Dillard, Rev. James Moore and Douglas Miller. He has opened for Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond and Rev. John P. Kee.Demetrius finally decided to venture out on his own with his Debut Album entitled "SAVED: The Revival".
