The Byrd Sisters

The Byrd Sisters have been operating in ministry since 1992. The Byrd Sisters received their start and support early in ministry, singing at their local church, New Hope Church Of God In Christ, under the leadership of their grandparents, Pastor Milton and Missionary Gussie Starks, as well being propelled by the prayers and support of Mo. Emma Byrd and the Byrd family. Born and raised in Oakland, California, they desire to serve God by giving back to their community through the ministry of song locally, as well as on a national level. With somewhat of a traditional sound, they believe that they can minisiter to the needs of those that know Jesus Christ as well as those who don't. Furthermore, it is their desire to sing songs of Zion to the one true, Living God, through hearts of worship as well as to be a blessing in any way they can to the body of Christ.
