Hey Guys, Welcome to My Space..........For those who visit regularly, thanks so much for your support, for all those who have just stumbled across, seaked out or been guided to this little spot in cyber space, Thanks for visiting I hope you come on back and also spread the word. ....... I started teaching myself guitar in late 2004 and soon began songwriting. I moved from Canberra, where I was nursing, to Tamworth, trying to follow a life long dream of performing and writing. See I always had a thing for music, my grandfather was a piano maker for Beale Australia, so I was lucky enough to have a baby grand piano hand made by my Pa!!..... One of my parents friends gave me lessons, just to read music, but I always found myself adding my own feel and Jazzing bits up or dressing them down, much to her dislike!!! So I gave lessons away, moved away from home a year later and didnt touch an instrument for almost 12 years!!....... Pa used to say "Women, Kids and Motor Cars will send a man broke and not necessarily in that order!!"..... Well he almost got it right, but for me that 12 years saw, Kids, Marriage, Divorce, Degree, Full time work, Then raising kids on my own, that nearly sent me insaine!!!.....Thats when I picked up the guitar!!!...... I haven't looked back!.... I now have 2 co-writes on Matt Scullions "Put It Down To Experience" Album released 2007, and the last I heard "Giddy Up" had made it to number 2 on the CMC charts!!! My bet is that "Sunday" will go all the way!!! Then I went on a songwriting camp where I met some of the most amazing people!!!..... I met Troy Kemp and a writing connection and friendship where forged.... I've also been lucky enough to write with Karl Broadie, John Kater, Nicki Gillis, Roger Corbett, Lawrie Minson, Tracey Killeen, Suzy Connolly and of late Drew McAlister & Ingrid... I've since met and played with some amazing players Brent from Rocwater, Jason Lowe and Ben Roberts. ....... Ben Roberts of Live and Acoustic along with Live and Original, has been a huge support and encouragement factor in my performing career of late. Sourcing places such as The Attic Night Spot, The Dekk Bar - Terrigal, Margi's Cafe - East Gosford, for myself and other talented central coastian muso's to play at!!.....I can also be found strumming and skwalking away at The Hotel Delany on Darby St in Newcastle, Vic on the Park on Enmore road in Newtown, The Empire Hotel at Annandale and Brackets and Jam North and South!!! So if you can make it to anyone of those venues while I'm there pop on up and say Hi I'd love to meet you!!!! Just Keep An Eye Out On The Upcoming Shows Box!!.......
