Jed Pickett

Jed Pickett has been singing, talking and writing with various bands all over the country for a lot of years now. Residing in Melbourne in recent times, Jed draws inspiration from a wide range of personalities, cultures and sounds.

Growing up in the mountains of Tasmania where music and quirky characters were plentiful. Jed was playing guitar from the age of ten. His late teens became an odyssey of hard funk and soul music, touring with his band 'Buck Naked'. Expanding his musical prowess into the more melodic genre, his songs reflect an appreciation of varied points of view and tastes. After spending time working around the town hangin out with various outfits, the focus is now new music of his own.
His guitar playing and song writing offer something personal and easy to relate to.
