About Me

Carl Eaton is among a new generation of singer-songwriters set to break the mould of the UK music scene. A prolific songwriter with an enchanting voice and heartfelt songs, Carl's approach is refreshing and contemporary. Beginning his musical career at an early age playing the drums he soon turned his attention to the guitar, also becoming proficient on synthesizers and bass guitar. From the age of twenty-one Carl realized his true passion lay in music and he began recording his songs at Studio 64 in Middlesbrough. By this time his songwriting had improved considerably as had his musical abilities. Now able to perform the guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, harmonica and percussion himself on his self released demos, Carl has an astounding collection of over 80 songs, the best of which are available on the albums 'The Big Picture', released in 2005, and 'Flow', released in 2007, receiving rave reviews. Carl also re-recorded his track 'Wait' in London with much respected producer Junk Scientist. Carl's live performance has also helped to build his fan base. Playing regularly in and around his home town of Middlesbrough and also frequently playing at acoustic venues in London. Carl has also played successful spots at the Middlesbrough Music Live Festival and the Stockton Riverside Festival on numerous occasions, festivals which have included the likes of Keane, Razorlight, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs... to name a few. Appearing regularly on local television and radio, Carl has now received much radio play and interviews up and down the country, and has even had his songs played in countries such as America, Australia and across Europe. Although Carl has been approached by Record Companies he remains a rare unsigned talent - keen to choose his path to success carefully. In 2009 Carl Eaton remains one of the UK's rising talents. He is currently recording his third album 'Imagineering', due for release this year, and regular live performances continue to amaze new and old fans alike.
