About Me

Born on a rainy Wednesday on September 19, 1962. Sort of grew up... or something;-) Moved from Stockholm to Miami in May 1993 when approached by old friend Yngwie Malmsteen to guitar tech for him.Did that until September 1998 and then moved up to New York. Was then approached by Jeff Glixman in November to help record Blackmore's Night album "Under A Violet Moon". Was a blast to meet old time hero Ritchie. Great guy.During the stint with Yngwie I also guitar teched and Tour Managed for Leslie West and Mountain during their 1996 European tour and some dates in the U.S.Also teched for Prince (or at the time"Artist formerly known as...") during video recording and live gigs at his Glam Slam club in Miami by recommendation from Harris Audio or Criteria Studios.Moved back to native Stockholm in May 2000 and took care of the Emagic Logic support for a year and a half and are now store managing at Deluxe Music ( www.dlxmusic.se ). In April/May 2007 I got to work with another great guitarplayer, Michael Schenker. He's written and played some great memorable solo. Standing on stage and he rips into the solo for "Only You Can Rock Me" as an example you 're n awe, What a great solo;-) Inspiration comes from friends and players I've worked with. There's really some fantastic musicians out there. I really love the playing by swedish friends like guitarists Conny Bloom, Marcus Jidell, Fredrik Åkesson, Mats Attaque, Singers like Mats Levén, Matti Alfonzetti and Leif Sundin, Drummers André Ferrari, Thomas Broman, Jonas Östman, Johan Kullberg, Bassists A.C, Svante Henryson, Johan Niemann, Nalle Påhlsson, Barry Dunaway & Barry Sparks. I've been very fortunate to work with them all and a diversity of artists ranging from Yngwie to Prince, Blackmore to Papa Dee, Eagle-Eye to Leslie West, Fredrik, Murinka, and Carina (who I owe the space of myspace as the friendship space;-)) I haven't worked with you yet but I hope to, and everyone else. I'm happy. It's been, and still is a blast. We're in this space for the music and the network of friends. Music & friends rules;-)I edited my profile with

Michael Schenker is in town. I have the good fortune of guitar teching for him during his stay here in Sweden. I remember listening to the Lights Out, Obsession and Stranger In The Night (Live) albums...
