Stringbender in the Swedish bands Blacksmith and recently MarysCreek releasing the album "Some kind of hate" on Major label MTM in 2007 before leaving the band in Maj. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Besides being directly involved with music Bobby has the past 10-15 years done the following in no particular order. Tried acting on proffessional level, had his own Radio show, written a bunch of television comedy bits and several original television program pilots* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * In 2006 Bobby together with ex-bandmembers scored a full endorsement deal from instrument maker SWING GUITAR TECHNOLOGY. Bobby Ho had 2 kickass electric guitars custom made in the companys custom shop as the FIRST European Guitar player ever to be honored with this. Bobby (and M.C bas player) was then in the begining of 2007 together with SWING co-endorsees and guitar greats Jeff Watson of Nighranger and Bachman Turner Overdrive guitar players FEATURED in large advertisement billboards and catalogues showing off the companys many products at the Los Angeles based NAMM show as well as the MUSICMESSE in Frankfurth GERMANY. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Moving from Sweden at an early age with his family Bobby has lived many years in the U.S.A spending time on both coasts. Leaving New York after 2 years he called Los Angeles home for a total of 5-6 years before moving home to Stockholm. Getting to know several of the great American and Swedish pop and rock stars on a personal level made an important impression on Bobby showing how "life in the fast lane" could be. ---Earlier music credits includes studio and live work with some of Swedens largest artists as well as several other Finish, British and American artists. These include sound technician jobs as well as record-demo production that span all the way back to the 1980..s... not to mention the several hundreds of studio sessions doing guitar work for different projects..--- Some odd and FUNNY facts: * On his fathers side, Bobby..s grandparents where the Swedish Champions of Modern dance NINE years in a row placing them in a unique place in history. Unfortunately Bobbys only LIVE performance of public dancing was on the GONG SHOW back in 1989 while living in L.A. This was aired on National tv to several millions viewers... *Bobby..s sister Annika whom also is in the music biz is one of Sweden..s most busy VOCAL coaches as well as being a full time member of bands like Marit Bergman and Sofie Rimheden.. *Bobby..s worked as an intern at SVT (Swedish Television) and SR (Radio) doing a little bit of everything at a young age. One of his jobs were to get the master tapes from Kaj Kindvall at TRACKS and deliver them in to Stockholm from the Norrkoping studio. Here he also worked with future executives like Jan Sherman, Mr. Weather John Pohlman, Ragnar Dahlberg and Steffo Törnqvist all employed at SVT at this time.--- *While living in L.A 1988 he worked with RAP music for the first time. A combination of melodic chorus songs together with rap verses which many years later became the standard was Bobby and Old School Scratcher/Drummer Cozy..s work method.--- *After being invited to the first Guldmikrofonen Awards ever in Stockholm back in the 80..s Bobby and monster engineer Mikael B Tretow ( ABBA etc), also from Ostergotland, got stinking drunk on white wine after no one showed up due to an invitation screw up.--- *Bobby played guitar on Pumpa På .. The first Hip Hop album ever produced in Finland in the mid 90..s..--- *Giving a helping hand to his friend Göran Edman whom in the 1990..s was the lead singer of the Swedish band GLORY, Bobby jumped in to play the keyboards in the band for a TV4 gig replacing Mats Olausson who was on tour with Yngwie. In the band were also Janne Granvik on guitar and Svante Henrysson on acoustic bas.--- * Bobby was one of the guitar players in the popular Stockholm based tribute band "Jurrasic Priest" which included members from bands like 220VOLT-BLACKSMITH-SOILVORK etc. The band played the Monsters of Covers consert at the MELODY CLUB in Stockholm in front of a sold out crowd the last night the popular club was ever open..--- *As a sound technician Bobby mixed Linkoping hometown girl Louise Hoffsten frequently learning the trade. Louise..s first trip/tour to Stockholm was done in Bobby..s...old Green VW Beetle Van.--- * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * NEWS ! After laying low for several years Bobby Ho and singer Per Englund are once again ready to ROCK with their band Blacksmith. This one in the classic bluesrock genre. The style of this material is a mix of many influences. Lenny Kravitz, Guns n Roses, James Brown, and Whitesnake...Lots of guitars, groovy drums, melodies and dirty vocals! The demos of this project has generated some serious label interest in the past years and goes under the working name of " Twain ". (to be changed later) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Besides these recording projects some more commercial projects find their way in to the CRIMELAB studio. Everything from Pop to Country music and even latino has been produced there in the original catalogue of songs.
