Helena Larsson Photography

I am a Swedish RocknRoll and Wildlife Photographer. Usually its two separate sections in photography but could just as well be the same.
My parents gave me a small instamatic camera when I was eight years old and I have been photographing eversince. I bought my first system camera while living in Los Angeles back in the 80s. I took thousands of photos that went straight to the wastepaperbasket until my photography kind of developed and mid 90s I won some smaller competitions that lead to participation in some exhibitions and so on. In 2004 I had my first separate photographic art exhibition at the Art Hall Väsby Konsthall in Stockholm, Sweden, where I showed almost 100 of my pictures. After that I have had several exhibits, both separate and with other artists and in different styles. I have participated in several international art exhibitions and so far published one book in cooperation with Norwegian Wildlife photographer Paal Hermansen. I work with old photographic contemporary techniques as well as the latest digital techniques. I like to explore and develop a theme or a feeling and I like photographs that talks.
