About Me
Camilla & Nalle are a song-writing team from Halmstad, Sweden. Their music caught the attension of Polydor, Germany and JVC, Japan and in 2000 they released an album, "Goodmorning Universe", under the name Sugar Bee co-produced by Charles Fisher (Savage Garden).
Due to staff changes at Polydor, Sugar Bee never hit the charts. After a short break they started writing again and here you can listen to some of the songs!Camilla says:As a little girl I started writing songs on my grandfather's piano and consequently I also recorded them on a four-track tape recorder. As time progressed, instead of going off to Ballet Academy, I hooked up with the Tits&Ass-team (Mats MP Persson, Per Gessle of Roxette). This gave me the opportunity to record and perform with a wide range of professional musicians. Meeting Nalle in the mid 90's, was the start of a very fruitful collaboration, both professionally and privately.
Together with excellent drummer Magnus Helgesson and formidable
bassplayer Fredrik "Gicken" Johansson we formed Da Dumm, a band
continously performing live in southern Sweden.
Kate Bush, Prince, Eryka Badu are great sources of inspiration.

Nalle says:Inspired by my mum, the guitar became my natural choice. Growing up listening to rock bands like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath I realized this was my calling. The move to Halmstad gave me the first sense of being in a band. Starting off with bands like Sydkraft, Strul (with Marie Fredriksson of Roxette) and Fun Club led me to Stockholm and artists like Chattanooga, Boogie Kings, Mick Ronson, Perssons pack, Tommy Nilsson, Tony Ellis, Py B..ckman amongst
others. In 1988 I toured with Ulf Lundell and also played guitar on the mega-selling album Evangeline. Recent years, along with playing in bands like Sugar Cane, Little Mike Watson, Klammedammers and of course Da Dumm, I've built a studio at my house and gotten more and more interested in producing and writing music. Not only for this project but also for others! While still touring this has become my top priority music-wise...
