About Me

This site was created in hopes of inspiring people to think more about those who endure the pain and suffering of war. Right now Americans are choosing to support and to participate in war. Because America is a democracy, our actions and inactions determine when a situation calls for sending our troops into battle. This is an extremely complicated and important decision to make. It is therefore necessary for us to be reminded about the consequences of our decision to support military action in Iraq - a nation that was found to have no connection to the World Trade Center attacks and to possess no weapons of mass destruction despite the Bush Administration's insistence to the contrary. The following graphic images depict civilian casualties in both Iraq and Afghanistan:The pain and suffering inflicted upon innocent people in wartime situations goes beyond measure. The war in Iraq is no exception. Although it may not be wise to pull out now and risk the further escalation of internal conflict, it is the responsibility of all American citizens to bring to justice those leaders who convinced the public to send our troops into battle under false pretenses.
