About Me

Fabio Raponi songwriter, producer and musician, best known for his worldwide successful hit "Movin too fast", written with Ingo Schwartz and Orlando Johnson, remixed by "Artful Dodger" in 2000, sung by Romina Johnson. In the same year he wrote "Come and Play - Viva Italia" the Official Anthem for the Italian football Team in "Euro 2000" (Belgium/Holland). The song was performed by Barbara Cola. In 1999 he was working on a project for Dionne Warwick, producing and playing piano in the song "Think about me" performed by The Royal Philarmonic Orchestra. In the same time he was working in London on some new projects, having the opportunity to record and mix in many famous studios such as Strongroom Studios and Real World... In this period he remixed the song "Teardrops" Ft. Michelle Escoffery and wrote and produced a song "Over baby with you" for the femaleband "Part III". In 1996 collaborated with Ingo and Romina, forming the band "2nd floor" and releasing the album "I gotta have you". In 1997 "2nd Floor" released a new single "Love & Happiness" featuring Wess, well known in the Seventies in the "Wess and Dori Ghezzi" duet. In 1998 the second album "Simply Passion" (Where you can find "Movin too fast" - R&B version -) was the last production for 2nd Floor.Previously Fabio collaborated as keyboard player with many Italian artists such as Tiromancino, Renato Carosone (1991/1992), Rita Pavone (1989/1991), Wess (with Max Gazzè!), Dori Ghezzi, Marco Armani, Giampiero Artegiani, Niki Nicolai and more.. (on tour or performing in many tv Shows). Between 1998 and 2000 he toured as keyboard player with Karen Jones.In 1997 and 2003 collaborated with songwriter Stefano Testa, producing two songs for "Recanati - VIII and XIV Musicultura Festival". They won both the contests.In 2004 produced and arranged the album "Scene di calma mentre La vita deraglia" a project by a new artist Daniele Scarsella. In the same time worked on the new Martha's album "Come non mi hai visto ancora", arranging the whole album and writing several songs. In 2005 started collaborating with a talented roman artist Andrea Febo, releasing the single "Disokkupato" (BMG Italy). In 2006 worked with Enzo Carella arranging and mixing his latest album (SONYBMG Italy). In the same time he was "indirectly" involved (with two songs) in the production of Luisa Corna latest album "Acqua Futura". Now he's involved in many projects from rock to electronic music as producer, composer and keyboard player.
