I moved my first steps in the musical scene by attending my father performances, who used to play guitar and sing in a band. He spent a lot of times in teaching me songs in English and Spanish since my early childhood, and I suddenly fell in love with music.
I grew up in a musical family and my first great duet was guitar and a home-made-drum with my younger brother Marco, I was 11 and he was 8.
We both developed passion for Arabian music living in Egypt for some years. The chance to live there and elsewhere in far away countries gave us the key to be musically open minded and to appreciate music for what it gives; whatever style it represents, when it catches your mood, it has performed its duty.
I took some lessons of classical, jazz and fingerstyle guitar, but mainly I used to play by ear while singing.
I also took private singing lessons with Lee Colbert (great teacher and performer), and this is all as far as my musical education is concerned. The rest is written in the pages of my life experiences, that within the emotional aspects of any kind of art, can teach more than a thousand books can do : ).
What you listen is what I am.During the years I have performed in various music clubs singing evergreens, standard songs, international pop music as well as lot of dance, pop and rock cover songs, and collaborated with recording studios (Best Records for Claudio Casalini, Duck Record for Wess Johnson, Odeon Record for the IMAIE), for Cartafilm of Giovanni Carta, and on tour with Wess, Nick Sy, Hata and some others. I’m currently proud to enjoy singing in a vocal jazz a cappella choir.
