Tweogan (noun twynung), from tweon "two," on notion of "of two minds" or the choice of two implied in L. dubitare (cf. Ger. Zweifel "doubt," from zwei "two").Doubt, which often has a negative connotation, has a fundamental function in the balance of life. In etymology, the meaning of doubt is “to be between two truthsâ€. Many problems from the world come from avoiding doubt - by needing to be certain of one truth, in a religious, political or moral sense, problems are created. I believe it would be right to point out that even our senses are built on a balance of two perceptions - two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, and even two separate parts of the tongue! We are designed this way, probably to have a more balanced perception of reality. I dedicate this Cd, to the culture of doubt, to the wisdom of doubt, which should always accompany ones perception of reality. When we make a decision, we should probably accept 'a truth', and stop trying to find 'the truth'. The truth is too objective for the human subjective perception.I don't perceive the world; the world is what I perceive. For example, I had doubts about the meaning of success, and I ended up in agreement with Emerson:’ Success.......to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded’’. I asked myself which part of our bodies most identifies us. I thought the head, but I then realized that when we refer to ourselves, we point our fingers in the direction of our heart.THE ALBUMThe Five Doubts is a musical landmark, a true listening experience that seamlessly brings together an array of renowned forces from a broad spectrum of musical influence, to create a unique tapestry, with the cinematic landscape of Hardage productions as the common thread. The concept for this listening experience was born three years ago, when its creator Hardage decided it was time to break down the walls between electro, lounge, ambient and chill-out music and mix up the genres, while at the same time inviting outsiders to the party. Peter Gabriel, Mark King(Level 42), Maxi Priest,Michael Franti (Spearhead) & Jocelyn Brown are only some of the artists that have joined Hardage on his journey to marry different styles of music to create what should be considered a new one.THE BIOGRAPHYBorn and raised in Rome, [the son of the eclectic American visual artist Susy Hardage], Hardage began his career in music, playing drums in a band with his younger bass playing brother. Desperate to explore his American roots, Hardage migrated to Chicago as soon as he could afford the air fare, and managed to find a job as a chef in a famous Italian restaurant. After two years of cooking for the celebrity clientele, Hardage decided he wanted to forge a career for himself back in his native Italy, when he received an invitation to be part of a new small real estate company with a mission to become the largest in Europe. After nine years, that mission was completed and Hardage had played a key part in making that the largest real estate company in Europe. His business work drew on his physchological expertise (he is an NLP trainer) and understanding of human relationships, often givng seminars and lectures, as well as realising two books on the subject. After building a successful business, Hardage decided to build another one, this time in Music, his one true passion. Rossiter Road, his record/publishing company became a vehicle for Hardage to produce & develop new and exciting music projects. He reached no.2 in the UK national sales chart, as the producer and publisher of the track Movin too fast by Romina Johnson (Gold record in UK) remixed by Artful Dodger. In Italy, he entered the top ten with the track Call me produced and written with Dj/Producer Dino Lenny. Together with his brother Dario (Dj and producer) Hardage runs the BACCI BROS. RECORDS
