WHO AM I?
I was born in Rome on the 22nd of September 1972 and basically from the beginning I had my first steps into music, thanks to the help of my family.
I was only 4 when I played the guitar, entertaining a whole bunch of astonished friends and relatives.
HOW DID IT START?
In sixth grade instead an event that eventually changed my life happened: tired of the lesson, I had asked the teacher if I could go to the toilet and, outside my class, I met the music teacher who was carrying in his class a complete drum set! I stood there fascinated by that ensemble of pieces, drums, cymbals, mechanical parts up to the point I asked the teacher who’s gonna be the lucky player of that beauty. He answered he did not know yet, and I immediately offered volunteer and - this was incredible! - as soon as I sat on the stool I already knew where to put and how to move my hands!
TIME FOR PRACTISING!
After the first years of "pure" delight, I started the real studying of the instrument thanks to the first suggestions of my forever friend Massimo Rosari. At 16 I studied with Cristiano Micalizzi and at 19 with Vincenzo Restuccia.
I have attended the clinics by Dave Weckl, Pete Zeldman, Virgil Donati, Joey Heredia, Steve Smith, Kim Plainfield e Massimo Pacciani.
LET’S GO TO WORK...
When I was only 22 I have began playing as a professional with many bands of the roman scene and I had my first tour experience with Kay Bianco. From that moment it has been a continuous follow up of works that made my play with artists such as: DBboulevard, Moony, Max Gazzè, Franz Di Cioccio, Teo Mammucari, Patty Pravo, Phil Palmer, The Mothers Of Invention, Grazia Di Michele, Eagle-Eye Cherry, I Ragazzi Italiani, Brusco, Massimo Nunzi, Deborah Johnson, David Colaiacomo, Achtung Babies, Claudio Insegno, Wess, Scialpi and many others
I have worked also for BMG, Virgin, EMI, Polygram and Warner Bros.

A very important moment in my life has been when I started working with The Grandmothers, the band formed by the mythical Frank Zappa’s Mothers of invention.
In that period I moved to London and I toured the world playing an incredible music that contributed in enlarging my views and improving my technical performances on the instrument.
Back in Italy, I took back my contacts and started back my activity as a session man, alterning it with the live performances and my job as a drum teacher in the schools " Donna Olimpia " and " Piano B ".
I’m also an UFIP , B-Stick and DAILA ’s endorser.
