No_Disc

I “No Disc” nascono a gennaio 2006 sotto il nome di “Riff”…L’idea di creare una band parte da Alberto Laruccia (attuale chitarrista e seconda voce), e David Guido Guerriero (allora cantante e attuale batterista).. I due coinvolgono subito nel progetto il giovine Lorenzo Berretti (attuale bassista e seconda voce). L'ancora immatura band comincia a sperimentare ,dopo qualche dovuta cover, i suoni “greendayani”e dei “The Clash”cominciando a creare la loro prima canzone… I ragazzi si accorgono (mentre continuano a scrivere il loro primo pezzo strumentale denominato “Intro”ed ora non più suonato dalla band perché giudicato dai suoni troppo punk) che c’è bisogno di una seconda chitarra,per questo decidono di coinvolgere nel progetto il chitarrista amico d’infanzia di Alberto:Francesco Logrippo.Con lui continuano la creazione del pezzo che ,causa l’inesperienza e la poca conoscenza della musica degli ancora tredicenni,richiede molto tempo. A metà del 2006 il trio di partenza comincia a scoprire un gruppo la quale musica si rivelerà in futuro una “Musa ispiratrice”: i Dream Theater.I loro riff velocissimi ma allo stesso tempo melodici portano Alberto,Lorenzo e David a scoprire un nuovo lato della musica. Questo richiamo al metal e al progressivo si comincia a sentire nelle canzoni, e dopo l’allontanamento dalla band del secondo chitarrista,(ora leader dei “Lev17”band completamente ispirata al suono del rock classico e del punk-rock),si dedicano completamente allo studio e all’applicazione della tecnica metal-progressive sui propri pezzi… Così a fine 2006 cominciano a creare “Progressione Ideologica”(che ora potete trovare nella playlist del myspace e il quale titolo sta a simboleggiare la vera e propria progressione di idee che la band ha avuto dallo studio del punk a qualcosa di più evoluto e complicato)lavoro che dopo alcune modifiche si conclude all’inizio dell’anno dopo. Da qui inizia il “periodo prospero” della band che nel frattempo ha adottato il nome definitivo di “No Disc”.Infatti dopo la partecipazione dei ragazzi allo “Student Music Festival” nell’estate 2007 concorso provinciale di tutte le band giovanili emergenti di Roma e provincia dal quale escono vittoriosi e soddisfatti dopo aver conquistato il terzo gradino del podio portando “Progressione Ideologica”un pezzo progressive-metal interamente strumentale,si dedicano in pochi mesi alla creazione di più pezzi ed è qui che nascono canzoni come “Pensieri”, “1020 secondi”, “Visione dall’esterno”o come la “Cover-Medley dei Dream Theater” montata da loro.. La formazione della band deve essere completata in poco tempo e così si decide di coinvolgere nella band Roberta Izzi (fidanzata del batterista e donna da interessante voce melodica)… Ora la formazione è quasi al completo e dopo aver registrato un demo tra dicembre 2007 e gennaio 2008 presso la sala prove “Musica e Musica” in Via Oderisi da Gubbio 214 a Roma,dopo aver suonato all’Alpheus di Roma grazie ad alcuni progetti promossi dalla Scuola Popolare di Musica di Donna Olimpia (frequentata dai componenti della band da diversi anni) e dopo aver partecipato ad alcune “serate” nelle scuole insieme ad altri gruppi(sponsorizziamo su tutti i “The Acrobats” www.myspace.com/acrobatssound), hanno trovato grazie ad una discreta botta di fortuna un tanto desiderato tastierista: Flavio Primo con il quale si stanno dedicando alla creazione di una cover dei Goblin oltre a procedere nella creazione di propri pezzi sperimentando nuove sonorità…

"No Disc" are born in January 2006 under the name of "Riff ". The idea to create a band departs from the mind of Alberto Laruccia (actual guitarist and second voice) and David Guido Guerriero (in the begin singer and actual drummer).. The two immediately involves in the project the benefit Lorenzo Berretti (actual bassist and second voice) of it. The immature anchor band starts to experiment, after some covers, the sounds of the "Green Day "and of "The Clash "starting to create theirs first song. The boys realize (while they are keeping on writing their first instrumental piece denominated "Intro "and now not played by the band more because judged too much by the sounds punk) that there is need of a second guitar, for this they decide to involve in the project the guitarist Alberto’s infancie friend:Francesco Logrippo. With him they continue the creation of the piece that, cause the inexperience and the little knowledge of the music of them anchors thirteenth, it asks for a lot of time. To halves 2006 the trio of departure starts to discover a group which music will reveal in the future him one "inspiring Muse": Dream Theater. Their fast rifves but at the same time melodic Alberto, Lorenzo and David bring to discover a new side of the music. This call to the metal and the progressive one he starts to feel in the songs, and after the leaving from the band of the second guitarist, (now leader of the "Lev17 "band completely inspired to the sound of the classical rock and the punk-rock) they devote him completely to the study and the application of the technique metal-progressive on their own pieces. This way to end 2006 start to create "Ideological Progression"(“Progressione Ideologica”) (what time you can find in the playlist of the myspace and which title is to symbolize the real progression of ideas that the band has had from the study of the punk to something more evolved and complicated) job that after some changes it concludes later him to the beginning of the year. From here it begins the "prosperous period" of the band that it has adopted the definitive name of in the meantime "No Disc". In fact after the boys' share to the "Student Music Festival" in the summer 2007 provincial contest of all the emergent juvenile bands in Rome and province of which they go out victorious and satisfied after having conquered the third step of the platform bringing "Ideological Progression" a piece progressive-metal entirely instrumental, they are devoted more in few months to the creation pieces and it is here that songs are born as "Thoughts" (“Pensieri”), "1020 seconds"(“1020 secondi”), "Vision from the outside"(“Visione dall’esterno”) (what soon they will be posted in the playlist of the myspace) or as her "Cover-Medley of the Dream Theater" climbed on by them and that it is available on the myspace. The formation of the band must be completes in little time and so it is decided to involve in the band Roberta Izzi (girlfriend of the drummer and woman from interesting melodic voice). Now formation is almost to the suit and after having recorded a demo between December 2007 and January 2008 near the room tests "Music and Music" in “Via Oderisi da Gubbio 214” in Rome, after having played to the Alpheus in Rome thanks to some projects promoted from the “Popular School of Music of Donna Olimpia” (had been frequenting by the components of the band for different years) and after having participated to some "evenings" in the schools together to other groups (especially "The Acrobats" www.myspace.com/acrobatssound), they have found thanks to a discreet blow of fortune a very desired keyboarder: Flavio Primo with which he is devoting to the creation of a cover of “Goblin” (Deep Red) besides proceeding in the creation of own pieces experimenting new sonorities…
