My name is Lucy and i live in Scotland. I'm a very happy and generally optimistic person with many interests in life. My interests include Mythology, Psychology, Travel, Anthropology, Philosophy, History, Geography and Music...amongst many other things.I consider myself to be a freethinker because, well...i am completely against religious doctrine, and i share philosophies with many other of the worlds philosophies, such as Buddhism, Naturalism, Humanism, non theistic Pantheism and also non theistic Paganism, although not new age Paganism as i completely disagree with most of that teachings almost as much as i do with monotheistic teachings.I love mythology, comparative mythology and comparative religion. Due to the research that i have done throughout the years, i see no evidence in favour of the existence of Jesus Christ as an historical figure, thus...am a Jesus Mythicist.I am a writer, i write about many different things, but mainly articles on history, mythology and religion. Although, as a singer...i write a lot of songs too...i am also dabbling with some ideas and coming close to starting on my first ever novel, which will most likely be complete garbage, but i enjoy it, so what the hell??? hee hee!As stated above...i am a singer, i sing soprano and pop....i will be singing a solo in a theatre production this summer too, yikes!! hee hee....should be fun!Scary though, since i am incredibly shy!!Well, i guess this 'about me' section is a little 'all over the place' LOL...i try to look for things to say about myself but sort of feel awkward in doing so....I have a degree in Celtic Civilisation and am currently doing my honours in history before going on to do my honours in psychology as well as either mythology or the classics....something along them lines anyway! :)

My Interests

Writing, Photography, Film, Literature, Music.....many more.

I'd like to meet:

So many people, but...most of all... Celine Dion. She is my ultimate idol, has been since i was about 12 years old so i could never imagine not having her as my idol! ha ha. I love her voice so much, it gives me goosebumps! She seems like such a wonderful and lovely person too.Other musicians that i would love to meet are Michael Jackson, Shania Twain, Mariah Carey, Cher, Emma Shapplin.....more and more.Other people i'd like to meet, both dead and alive are Joseph Campbell, James Hillman, Carl Jung, Friedrich Nietzsche, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Richard Dawkins, Ayn Rand, Sam Harris, Charles Darwin, Alfred Russel Wallace...the list goes on..but, basically any person with an amazingly beautiful and independent mind.

Music:

Anything classical, and i also love cheesy pop. I love 1980's power ballads too. I'm pretty eclectic really.

Movies:

The Sound Of Music, Girl Interrupted, Braveheart, Liar Liar, Mrs Doubtfire.....again i'm eclectic.

Television:

I love Numbers, Criminal Minds, SVU, Criminal Intent, CSI (all 3 shows).
