If I had known how popular going into casting would make me, I would've done it in high school.

About Me

Eh... pretty much your standard average everyday sarcastic, cynical, anal-retentive, obsessive-compulsive insomniac perfectionist with a great rack.
What can I say? I'm happy.
Here's an interview I did recently.
What did Jonny Bigmuff say? Most giving and wise--full of nuggets of knowledge that keep on giving long after the initial gifting. Like Yoda, but with bigger boobs.
My FAQ is here .

Okay, so I've been on MySpace since 6/21/06 and I was on MySpace PROBATION from 8/29/06 through 1/10/07 (when a dear friend's roommate who WORKS at MySpace unblocked my profile, thankfully).
But since MySpace Probation cursed me for months and I want YOU not to have the same experience I had, here's the deal... if ever you click on a link within a bulletin or message and then (in what looks like a typical MySpace hiccup) you're asked to log in again, DON'T DO IT! I know, I know... standard Internet safety... but I was such a MySpace newbie that I totally fell for it and my account got HACKED. The "bots" used my account to send spam and they even put some active-x codes in the bowels of my "heroes" section, to launch scripts on other people's pages. Ugh! Such bastids!
Anyway, the probationary status meant that only about 20% of the MESSAGES I tried to send or even reply to actually went through (which is why my friend requests may have seemed random--I couldn't explain how I know you because I was on probation; and which is why I could only answer your messages in COMMENTS--I couldn't reply to you otherwise because I was on probation). Grr. I'm glad I chose just to deal with it and try to get the most out of MySpace that I could anyway. A lot of people suggested that I wipe out this account and start over with a new one, but... um... no. That would've been WAY too much work.
Cool Stuff: In Back Stage West's Best of Los Angeles listing for 2006, with just under four years in casting, I made the ranks of "runner up" for Best TV/Film Casting Director in LA! Yowza! Thanks to EVERYONE who voted. I am honored!
Also, big thanks to EVERYONE who voted in the 2006 Lindsay Firth Jam Out with Your Clam Out Competition , which I won. I hope to place in the top contenders again next time out.
Woo hoo! I was in the studio with David Lawrence and you can go to his show's website to get the podcast or visit this link for some clips.
If you've read this far, then, hey, you probably already know about my weekly columns and casting life . ( Here's my IMDB page .) Thanks for the love! And remember... Live your dreams! If you don't, someone else will.

Well, that was cool.

So, this will be a long rambling story with a not nearly exciting enough punchline, but it's one of those great "feel goods" that we all need sometimes. So, here it is.Back in 1999, I was still an act...
