Hi. I'm JOHN TIMMONS. I'm an ACTOR, SCREENWRITER, AND FILMMAKER and I am the Founder of CLEARFIELD PRODUCTIONS. (WWW.INYOURDREAMSFILM.COM)I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. That makes me a life-long fan of the Phillies, the Eagles, cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, and TastyKakes. I love Shakespeare and Sherlock Holmes, and I give Shiatsu massage. Not surprisingly, I also love good movies. Among many other things, Im fascinated by ghosts, writing in general, screenplays in particular, and women. Not necessarily in that order. I also love American Flyer electric trains, baseball, and finding new ways of asking all those unanswerable questions we keep asking ourselves. Ive been a professional actor for many years and I am as good as they come. Lots of theatre and film experience, and some TV and, God willing, lots more on the way. Ive been blessed and life is good. I am finally learning to get out of my own way and I try not to let my expectations exceed my gratitude. My favorite quote is: There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.(Hamlet I, v) I believe it. Lifes mysteries are great. Few things, if any, are impossible. I love writing and making my own movies. As it plays out in my mind's eye, it's sometimes the only way they will ever get made correctly. But not always. The short film, IN YOUR DREAMS, starring ROSEMARIE LI, which screened at the PALM BEACH INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL(2006), is my first Clearfield production and IS NOW AN OFFICIAL SELECTION OF THE CINEMA CITY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS(2007). I have more shorts slated to shoot this year(2007) and several feature films In Development, which simply means, of course, Im still looking for more money($). I want my movies to be entertaining but still be about something. Sometimes that combination is difficult to achieve but, more often, it just requires a resolute desire to make them that way. I want to make people think and feel especially when they least expect it. Just keep digging into that popcorn, folks. Ill take care of you.
