Dances With Films

Dedicated to truly independent filmmakers

About Me

DWF'S 2007 "MEET THE FILMMAKERS" PARTY!
..
Welcome to Dances With Films; the film festival dedicated to truly independent films and the people behind them!
In today's filmmaking world it's very hard to get anywhere if you don't have stars in your movie. For the thousands of films that are made each year, the majority go unseen simply because they don't have name talent in them.
Well, my fellow fimmaker, our festival is dedicated to you!
We're interested in TALENT. In fact, we are the only festival dedicated to films with NO STARS! There was a time when no one knew Robert Rodriguez, Vince Vaughn, Aaron Eckhart, Owen Wilson, Wes Anderson. It is our mission to find and present up and coming NEW filmmakers. We are the festival that's looking for the Robert's, Vince's, Aaron's, Owen's and Wes' of tomorrow.
Making movies comes down to a dream. It's about the talent, the dream and the ambition to make it come true. Filmmaking takes hard work, dedictation, sacrifice, time, money, blood, sweat and tears. There is pride in conceiving, creating and finishing your project. It's an amazing accomplishment.
Why don't we allow films with celebrities to screen at Dances With Films? Because we are a DISCOVERY festival; discovering the diamonds and presenting them to Hollywood. We can't wait to meet you!
