LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!

About Me

I make music for a living- I produce records and play bass and guitar sessions. Other than that, I think I'm pretty normal. It's a really fun job, way better than working for a living, although it's often really hard work, but it's an honor to help others get the ideas in their head out onto a CD. Best of all are my friends that I get to make music with. I am privileged to work with some great musicians who are also great friends. I am married to my high-school sweetheart who is the best wife ever, and we have three nutty kids. I am a Christian, which means I believe that Christ is the Son of god and paid for my sins, and that he is the way to God, but I'm certainly not perfect like he was, although I keep trying. I hope you enjoy my little place on the web

Band of Horses, Rogue Wave, Raconteurs, Mutemath, Goldspot, Longview, My Morning Jacket, The Sounds, Natasha Bedingfield (guilty pleasure but a GREAT record), Postal Service, Rachel Yamagata, Sigur Ros, Paul McCartney's new record, Mandalay, Futureheads, Bloc Party, The Features, Interpol, The Killers, South, Tegan & Sara, The Verve, Imogen Heap, Butterfly Boucher, Kanye West, Aimee Mann "Whatever", The Arcade Fire, The Autumns, Bright Eyes Old Stuff.....Echo and the Bunnymen, The Smiths, Big Country, Bauhaus, Agent Orange, Let's Active, the dBs, OLD REM (first three records), the CLASH, The Who, Simple Minds, Aztec Camera

Movies:

I never get to see movies, but I love everything M. Night Shyamalan does. Also Slingblade, Rabbit proof fence, almost any indie movie, especially with subtitles. Kind of snobby, huh? But I also like some big movies. I think the Chronicles of Narnia is a great movie- Lord of the rings is great too.

Heroes:

Christ, my wife Sarah, Paul McCartney, Sting, U2, Pete Sampras, Bjorn Borg
