About Me

Hey there, thanks for stopping by. I'm a film & trailer music composer, orchestral arranger, keyboard player and unabashed techno-nerd who seems to suffer from a chronic civil war between his left and right brain hemispheres ;-) I'm also the owner of a personal creative space I call 'The Whine Cellar."
For more info about what I do, please visit The Whine Cellar at www.whinecellarstudio.com.

ABOUT THE MUSIC

"Ad Alta" is a sneak preview of an instrumental project I'm working on. It's also available for licensing as a film trailer.
"Max VO2 Trailer" is a trailer for an upcoming film by the same name (currently in pre-production; see www.maxvo2themovie.com).
"Tribute To Heroes" was originally inspired by the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, and is available for licensing.
"Nitrous Oxide" was created on spec as a trailer for the film "The Fast & The Furious 4."
"Amazing Grace Trailer" is an idea I was asked to submit by Walden Media (Chronicles Of Narnia) for their film "Amazing Grace." I actually adapted this from the music I wrote for my wedding - my beautiful wife walked down the aisle to an earlier version of this ;-)
"Relapse Credits" is from the end credits of a film I scored called "Relapse" by Seabourne Pictures (www.seabournepictures.com). This film won "Best Original Score" at an international film festival in 2008!
"MG Chase 1" is part of a cue from an action/suspense film I scored called "The Mercy Gene" in 2003.
"Compassion Promo Score" is a clip from a score I wrote for Compassion International (a children's sponsorship organization). Compassion has made a HUGE difference in the lives of thousands of children around the world - please visit them at www.compassion.com to see how you can get involved!

Stay tuned - I hope to have some music available for purchase soon!

Band Members: Jim Daneker - keys, strings, pots & pans, buttons/knobs/faders and misc. other gizmos and random noises

POP/ROCK - U2 (world’s best and last great band), Carpark North, Mute Math, Coldplay, Keane, all the other bands you’re supposed to mention... Leeland, Nik Kershaw, Sting, John Mayer, Sarah Mclachlan, Jeff Buckley, Bruce Hornsby, Beck, Jonatha Brooke, Evanescence, Wilshire, Peter Gabriel, The Beatles, Elton John, Chris Rice, Sixpence, lots of guilty pleasures from the 80’s...

Posthumus, James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Conjure One, The Newman Family (Thomas, David, Randy), James Newton Howard, Alan Silvestri, Bruce Broughton, John Debney, Ennio Morricone, Bill Whelan, Enya, Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Mozart & the usual suspects...

MISC/OTHER - Big band, jazz, early-to-mid 20th century goodies, lots of 50’s-60’s-70’s stuff (alright, so much of the 20th century), Celtic music, ancient & ’world’ music, and of course a few Michael Bolton essentials (now I’m just seeing if you’re paying attention)...
Sounds Like: ...all (or some) of the above
