Shane D. Wilson

About Me

Shane was educated in the tradition of classically recorded music at Indiana University from 1988-1991. He graduated with an Associate of Science in Audio Technology.
Shane moved to Nashville in 1991 and assisted and learned from some of the top engineers in the world including- Rick Will, Tom Laune, Richard Dodd, Elliott Scheiner, Kevin Shirley, John Guess, Steve Tillisch, Doug Sarrett, Bret Teegarden and Brent King, among many others.
In 1995, Charlie Peacock offered Shane a chance to move into the engineer's chair and he began, at that point, working as Charlie's overdub engineer and then moved on to tracking and mix engineering with him. For the next year or so, Shane worked exclusively with Charlie on re:think projects produced by Charlie Peacock, Jimmie Lee Sloas, Brown Bannister, Tedd T, Brent Milligan, Barry Blair, Mark Heimerman, Monroe Jones, Gary Burnette and Brent Bourgeois.
In 1997, due to re:think re:structuring, he again became an independent engineer.
Since that time, Shane has been busy tracking and mixing.
