In between lattes, Scott likes to make stuff up - i.e. write songs. Over the past decade, Scott became one of the premiere writers in Comtemperary Christian Music with over 200 of his songs being recorded - including 14 1’s and 20 other Top 10’s. Scott’s songs appear on CD’s by platinum selling artist POINT OF GRACE, multi-platinum Czech Republic artist SAMER ISSA, BOB CARLISLE, AVALON, KATHY TROCCOLI, SANDI PATTY, WARREN BARFIELD, KATELYN TARVER, RONAN TYNAN, FFH, JACI VELASQUEZ, and JOHN TESH (Top 10 single "IT WOULDN’T BE CHRISTMAS") among others. While Scott continues to write music for the Christian marketplace, he has spread his proverbial wings into the pop world as well - as long as they serve coffee. With frequent writing trips to New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville, Scott co-writes with some of the best writers and producers in the free world, including JEFF COHEN, JESS CATES, TY LACY, BRYAN TODD, JEFF FRANZEL, ANDY MARVEL, HOLLY LAMAR, DAVID TYSON, NATE CAMPANY, JORGE CORANTE, STEPHANIE LEWIS and SCOTT DAVIS. Scott has also had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented up and coming artists like KARI KIMMEL, SKYLER STONESTREET, COOPER, FRANCESCA BATTISTELLI, RUUT, and A.O.

Sounds Like: Songs about life written somewhere in the genres of pop, rock, or soul, with hints of jazz, a dash of electronica, and an occasional hip-hop groove. (Okay, so i like to diversify - yeah, yeah, call it shcizophrenia if you want.)
