About Me

Howdy.I've been making music for a living for the last several years, a fact which still astounds me if I stop and think about it for long. I'm very wary of MySpace, but all my music friends tell me that I kinda have to have a MySpace site, so in the interest of conformity and a desire to be accepted and cool, here I am.I play concerts with a variety of people who amaze me, but the mainstays are my buddy Ben Shive (www.myspace.com/benshive) and Andy Gullahorn (www.myspace.com/andygullahorn). They're both great musicians, writers, and friends. My newest record, The Far Country, is my favorite one yet, which is why all the songs on the player are from it. You can buy a copy for a whopping $11 on my website, or on iTunes, or at your local store, just so you know.I think that's about it.Thanks for listening to the music.

Band Members: About a month ago I released my newest album, a record I made with one of our finest writers and one of my best friends, Randall Godgame. It's called Slugs & Bugs & Lullabies and can be purchased at www.andrew-peterson.com. I've got three kids, Randall's got two, and we finally got around to recording our lullabies and goofy kids' songs--18, to be exact. It's a load of fun whether or not you have kids, so be sure and purchase fifteen copies for your progeny... BUY HERE.
