Batman, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, L.A. Confidential, Jackie Brown, Shakespeare In Love, High Fidelity, Shadow Of A Doubt, To Catch A Thief, Goldfinger, Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Sound Of Music, Patriot Games, Elf, Goldmember, Honky Grandma Be Trippin', So I Married An Axe Murderer, Who Dat Ninja, The Breakfast Club, Uncle Buck, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and a host of other cheesy yet delightful '80s movies. Last saw: The Kingdom--better than expected--and Gone Baby Gone, which is borderline terrific. Netflixed The Lives Of Others and loved it.

The Office, 30 Rock, Lost (miss it!), How I Met Your Mother, and Heroes (fading fast this year).

The Son Of Laughter, Beloved, Gone Baby Gone, Lucky You, U2 At The End Of The World, Blue Like Jazz, Abba's Child, The Sun Also Rises, The Sacred Journey, 1 Henry IV, The Awakening, The Tipping Point, Chronicles Of Narnia, The Things They Carried. Current reads: school stuff, travel books on Germany, House Of The Seven Gables. Next up: Perelandra.
