About Me

This is another project of the Norwegian singer/songwriter Vegard Kopperud. Trough the pseudonym "Thomas Platt" he delivers acoustic-driven melodies wrought with story and full of truth. He started developing his own style and writing his own material when he was 16 years old. .The name "Thomas Platt" is taken after his g.-g.grandfather which was from Scotland, but worked some years in Norway at the 1830s. The original Thomas Platt went back to Scotland before he knew that he was going to be father of Vegard’s g.-grandmother. They did not see him again.
