Lenka has a love of old Czech folk tales and old european operas. Not every house in Czech has a T.V. but every home has a puppet theatre. Puppetry is a highly regarded art form in Czech and one Lenka was born into. Her mother Ludmila Muchova was a costume designer for the grand theatre and opera productions of Prauge. Her step father was the famous Czech puppeteer and magician Pan Tau, legend has it that He could tap his hat and turn himself into a puppet at whim. Lenka grew up walking and talking puppets, as a child she spent hours sitting at her mothers feet creating costumes for her marrionettes from the offcuts of her mothers grand opera gowns. Long winter nights were filled with with the laughter of puppet shows, giving life to the adventures of Kate and the Devil, Vodnik the Waterman, Rusalka the willow the wisp and many others. Puppetry is more than just a job to Lenka. It's her life and it's in her blood.
