For years now, The Lismore Show has been a source of inspiration for my art. I have taken my children down each year, armed with pencils and paper, and together we have sat and sketched the ducks and the pigs. I have oil-painted the carnies, the prize-winning roosters, show dollies and merry-go-rounds. For some, the bright lights of New York City is where it's at, but I have found all the inspiration that I need right here, in my own backyard.
So it seems only natural that I should combine my love of all things hick, and pull together a folk tent within the grounds of The Lismore Show.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you, The Cock & Bull, A Celebration Of Rural Folk Culture.
