I also hope to influence your love of music with the many songs we have composed. Please keep checking our band site as well and watch us grow. We look forward to your comments on the music. I give you this space to reflect upon the Positive Things in Life!!! I hope to Inspire you and that you leave here feeling motivated and spiritually full!!!

To control the Sea, is to be a Goddess. To be one with the sea, is to be of the sea. I swim there each night in my dreams.

Mistress of the Winds. Holding back the Sea from the land? Or holding back the land from the sea????

If you can't see the beauty of YOU, take a closer look. You will see it more clearly.

If something comes into your world that seems too big for you to handle, your first reaction might be one of fright!

Make peace with it and you will see the good of it. It may just turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to you!

Dance to the music of the waves.
Run barefoot and gleefully squeal to the winds.
Be a child of the ocean and ride the surf.
Happiness is a great wave hitting a rock!

You might think someone is peculiar. On the other hand, they just might think you are too! Be careful to judge lest yee be judged!

Atlantis Rising! It exists in our hearts as much as Camelot!

Dream Big. Nothing is unachievable and all is within your grasp. Make your opportunities count!

I'd like to meet:

As to who I'd like to meet??? Well, All Of You, of course!!! People who love music, art, dancing, good dinners with great friends, and of course water in all it's wonderful forms.

I have many pictures up on this site and do not claim any of these as personal art works. All these paintings and works of art are from varied artists, and I hope you look for their works on the net if you like what you see. If you are an artist who has a picture you'd like to see here, please message me, and I will consider it if it is tastefully done. Love, Norine.

Life can be dream-like. I listen to the ocean all night on my sound machine radio. I dream of long walks on the moving sand and cool swims by the moonlight. Sunbathing on a rock and watching the ocean for hours on end. Dreaming up new songs that flow with the beat of the tides. Ahhhhhhhh!

I love mermaids and the legends that are told of them. I have gathered a collection of them and will enjoy sharing them with you. Blessed Be! Norine.

The Sailor. How many of them went overboard on the old ships? What did they see?

Did they see a Siren of the Sea perhaps? Or just some tangled seaweed. One has to wonder, if the imagination prevailed, why all the reports sound the same?

And what of those mermaids who would give up the sea, to walk the land with the human man. Was the love worth more than the freedom of the open ocean. Many tales have been told of the Mistress of the Sea, who brought mortal men to their very knees. I think I was one of those Sirens who gave up the WaterWorld for a trot on the dirt, but will always long to go back!

Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. With Angels by my side all night, I know that I will be alright.......... A prayer I rewrote for my children when they were young, so that they wouldn't be afraid to go to sleep...................This of course after a story, a lullaby I wrote just for them, a joke and a word for the day. I hope everyone takes the time to be with their children when they are small. It makes a lasting impression.............................

Mothers, hold your children close to you. Let them feel your heartbeat. Let them feel your humming as you cradle them in your arms and gently rock them to sleep.

Is your vision of the world full of hope and amazement? Is the glass half full or empty. Look around you, see the miricles, let the happiness enfold you, feel the love in every sunbeam and misty crash of the waves. Love yourself! Your children will be a reflection of the light that you shine. Let your candle burn brightly!!!

Love is universal. Let it in. Always embrace the love of a friend, a daughter, a mother, a sister. We need to build each other up, and never tear the fabric of our sisterhood down.

Sometimes you have to ride the Dragon. Oh, but what a ride! It may be like a roller coaster, or like a dropping elevator, or sometimes like a bullet train. But.....without it, life would be so dull. Can you hear me gleefully screaming as we plunge to the earth, swooping up just before we hit the ground, to soar to the sun and back again. Sometimes you have to ride the Dragon!!!!
Sorry, I just think he's cute, and he IS in the WATER!!!!

Music:

We are a musical family. Our music space is the first Icon in our friends list. Join the journey. We love all music and create an ecclectic broad spectrum of music that crosses all genre's.

We dance through the waters
to the music of the sea
Songs of whales, my heart for thee
Dolphins sing and play with glee
We mermaids add our harmony

Your ship sails high on the big deep blue
Hear my song, I call for you
Will it seem like just a dream
Or will you stop and search for me

I dance here almost every night
beneath the blue in pale moonlight
I will wait eternity
for your love of me and sea
By Norine Mungo, 12/08/2006

I love brilliant colors, and the sea is full of them!

Dreaming of love. Dreaming of home. Dreaming of happy days and cherished nights. Dreaming.......

I dream in color!!!! What do you dream?!!!
Are You Dreaming Now??

Where will you journey tonight??

What will you dream?

Will it be of some fantasy place or will you be safe and stick to the day you left behind?

I Sea You, Do You Sea Me?

Even the Masters painted the beauty of the Sea Maiden.

Angels come in all shapes and sizes. Recognize them and be blessed!

Sometimes we must be careful what we wish for. Make it a good wish, keep it positive.

Movies:

Now is the time to tell our story. The story of how Vince and I met some 34 years ago. We truly are ancient spirits.
We were both born in San Francisco about 15 days apart. Though we lived in the same neighborhood and went to the same church and knew the same friends, we never met as children.
Though I lived right next door to his cousins, and shopped at his uncles grocery store, and even took home one of his uncles kittens from the famouse old gray cat, we still never crossed paths.
My mother had tried to get me into the private school in our area, but there were no openings. Not until Vince's family moved to another city. That left an opening for me. So I went to the same school as he did, but he was already gone. I missed him by one summer.
When I was near the end of my freshman year in High School, my parents decided to move to Fremont. The same city that Vince had moved to long before. They put money down on a house in the same highschool district but then found a house for 3k less in the next district over.
Though we lived in the same town and knew the same friends, and our High Schools played each other in sports, we never met.
Then I decided to go to the Junior College in our town. I met a young man named Roy who to our amazement was also from San Francisco. We found out that we'd gone to the same Kindergarten and that we were in Catechism together and went to the same church.A
He told me about how his family moved him to Fremont in his Senior year of HS and that he had made friends at his new school with a guy that also came from San Francisco. He said I should meet this young man named Vincent, and that he thought we'd hit it off. He was quite the prophet this Roy Webster!
I was modeling at the time and though I had seen this Vincent around the campus, I had no interest in meeting him because he always had this huge overcoat on and looked, well, chubby! I was very skinny and thought that maybe he was lazy so I declined the invitation to meet him in my Freshman Year of College.
Then one day in my Sophmore year, I was sitting in the student lounge on a break between Chemistry Class and lab, and in walks Roy with Vince. I thought, "Oh no, he brought chub boy. I have no time for this, I have to get back to class!"
As I thought this I had looked up at the clock right when Roy said, "Hey Norine, I want to introduce you to Vince!" That was September 18, 1973 on a Tuesday evening at 7 PM.
They sat down and Roy started talking. I tried to ignor Vince but then he took off that huge overcoat, and oh my God he had guns for arms having weight lifted most of HS for the Football Team. I lost my train of thought and just stared at him for a moment.
Then he pulled out his guitar and started playing Tull and I was blown away. I leaned in and stared and listened as his fingers rolled accross the strings.
Then he looked up at me and our eyes made contact for the first time. He blushed and I had my first rumble in my tummy. I think you call it Butterflys.
I stopped listening to Roy and lost where he was in his conversation. Suddenly Roy stopped talking and just looked at the two of us, and he started laughing, an Eddi Murphey kind of laugh, cause he just knew. It was meant to be. A love story that was ageless, as old as time itself, when twin spirits meet and the eternal fire ignites.
We will celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary this April, 2007. And this September, it will be our 34th year of dating!
So long ago, and yet so fresh today, our love is steady and sure. Even with all the storms and turbulent seas, we ride the waves together and enjoy the calm waters when they happen.
In the shinning sun, or the pouring rain, our love warms our old souls and makes us forever young.
The songs I write have much to do with our lives together. Songs of love, and of pain, of triumph and hardship. Of children and family, of friends and foes. A lifetime of music born of our love.
Their love will live beyond them,
their children will carry the tales,
of when two spirits met,
and how their ship set sail,
into the greatest ocean,
their dreams their only guide,
they never stopped believing,
they just enjoyed the ride!!!

We have always enjoyed going to see our friends and family. We also love to just get up and go out on a whim. We go to many places and see many new things. We love nature and the ocean, and go on long drives just to see pretty areas. We really love water, in all it's forms. Lakes, rivers, waterfalls, the ocean and rain. Yes, we love rain. It makes us very creative!
I love dreaming of new things. Dreaming, always dreaming. Such a silly girl!!!
Like, where will we go on our next vacation???
What will we see, under the sea! A lavender bed of coral and fish to swim with me! Or will I just hang out with some cool friends of mine. Ribbbbbitttt!
So, About Me????

Television:

I am the Queen of Waterworld. The colors in my home reflect my love of the ocean and the sea. Seafoam green and chocolat brown, soft beige and lavender. I love to create recipe's and to cook for my friends when I have the time. I love to write music. That is what I spend most of my spare time doing.
I listen to the spheres for spiritual influence in my musical adventures. Be it a sad song, funny, ripping mad, or thoughtful, I want it to touch someones soul. If I can make you cry or think more deeply about your life, or make you laugh till you fall off your chair, then I have touched you.
I believe in people. I believe you have choices. You can choose to let life beat you down, or you can choose to be strong. You can live in a ghetto and become a surgeon. You can live on top of the hill in a mansion and become a weak drug addict.
It is really all up to you! No matter your parents, no matter your friends, no matter your location. You make the choice of who you really are, and where you want to be.
From the birth of time as we know it, man has had choices. He chose to live. He chose to hunt and feed his tribe. He chose to find better ways to do it.
He discovered that there was more to just eating and sleeping. He discovered that there was a magic in the world. Albeit love or spiritual awareness, man searched for that inner fire, the spark that set off the discovery of music and art.
Man became a creator. Inventions went off the chart for tools, housing, cooking, and providing. But the real jump or leap for mankind was the discovery of music.
From the humble beginnings of pounding on a tree stump, to the symphonies of the master composers, man discovered a sense of God, the power of the Universe, when he discovered music.
I stand here, loosed from my watery world, on my two feet which I chose to have, and I defend the those who would seek to make a greater spiritual impact on the world. Maybe it will be music that you choose, or medicine, or science, art, math, history? But know that I champion you and your efforts to create something in your realm that is beautiful and fresh and motivating to others. You CAN do it. Look inside your heart. What are you waiting for????
