About Me

Here it is, friends -- still a work in progress -- but, due to popular demand, we're posting some preliminary tracks from the upcoming "Eleven Degrees of Freedom" project. Please enjoy. Download 'em, share 'em with your friends, spread a good word ...any non-commercial use is okay.
So, who's ZumunuZ? Except as noted below, the band purports to be Quay Gegenschein on guitar and vocals, his half-brother, Peter Pangloss, on rhythm and keys, with conjoined twins Barney and Bernie Buttugli dividing bass and drums/drums and bass duties, respectively. They are augmented in the studio by mentor and manager, E.B. Drummer, who wrote, performed and produced all material with the able engineering assistance of J.R. Jamers, who also provided all the strings and theory.
It's largely a family affair, with roots dating to the boys encountering one another late in the last millennium as they found themselves common guests of St. Enid's Home for Misspent Youth in Lake Tepid, Iowa. They soon discovered that they had more than abandonment issues in common, and decided to abandon those issues, flee north to the Greatland and start a rock and roll band . . .

"From the States these musicians offer their alternative. They fuse, they weave, and they bravely go to places where so many other would fear to tread. It may not always work for you but give it time, listen to it a few more times, because they are trying to force the parameters to open wider. I have a deep respect for those who look towards being individual and invent. They are the unsold heroes that come up with something someone else hears, exploits, and makes commercial. Good luck lads, you're gonna need it doing what you're doing."

So long, RedRummer ...enjoy hunting with Dick til the indictments come out. Course, we still have to endure two more years of the worst president ever presiding over the worst administration ever. At least there'll be no more DeLays ...
