Music is part of my being. I love music. Good music. No specific genre. It could be Scottish music. If it is done with passion and perfection, I love it. Specifically, I am drawn to Classics, Broadway, Jazz, Funk, Opera, R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Dancehall and of course GOSPEL!!! My musical style is influenced by the late Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers, Richard Smallwood and the Smallwood Singers, Ricky Dillard and New Generation and my alma mater, Institutional Church of God in Christ. I am impressed by singers and musicians before 1980. It was about music of the heart and not this watered down studio based "music" of today. Presently, I enjoy the sounds of Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan (I love you!), Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, George Handel, Smokey Robinson, Prince, Beyonce, Destiny's Child, Andre 3000 and Outkast, Justin Timberlake, Lil' Kim, Eve, Jay Z, Blu Cantrell to name a few. I enjoy a lot of gospel artists.
