About Me

NEWSFLASH:
It's been a little while, but we have gigs coming up! We'll be running a night of hard rock and metal in the midlands(!) before returning to our true spiritual home of the Porter Butt with two nights in the summer. Check back soon for more details! Stay awesome xx

Welcome to the Rolling Head Promotions myspace. We're a Bath based group that came into existence in 2005 and have come to make it our mission to find a local audience for hard rock and heavy metal, although we put on the occasional gig that ventures into other musical territories.
Our Events
Most of our nights are fairly small scale, and we usually hire out the Walcot Palais venue owned by the Porter Butt. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in character - we've held a number of highly successful metal and other rock nights featuring both acts from the local area and and larger names from further afield. All of our events are non-profit (we merely aim to cover costs) and whenever it's financially possible we put together charity fundraisers.
Playing a Rolling Head gig
If you're interested at playing at one of our gigs, feel free send us a message! We might not be able to do anything for you now, but we can listen to your stuff and remember you for the future. We are contacted by great bands all the time and sadly are only able to put on a handful of shows a year.
Please bear in mind that at present we cannot afford to pay bands. This is purely due to the cost of running obscure music nights in a relatively small city, as we don't make anything ourselves! What we can promise you is promotion, a friendly atmosphere, a great sound thanks to our friends from Dragonfly Soundsystems, and most importantly a chance to play!
Visit these guys!
