Started listening to hip hop around 1989 when a cousin gave me an EAZY E, EAZY DUZ IT tape. First featured in the ground breaking P-Side Compilation: Volume 1 released in Botswana in 2000. In 2001, then known as Mista Doe, I moved to Manchester. I made numerous guest appearances in some Botswana released albums including T's Soul Aqua and Scar's Illegal Act, over the next 3 years. During that same period I also met a budding producer, Andrew Steele, with whom I recorded some some solo tracks including Disillusions. In December 2004, I released "Ke Fitlhile" (The Arrival), a 4 track EP, in Botswana as a promotional tool for my then upcoming debut...The Soprano.
In June 2005 I tested my selling potential by releasing The Soprano. Since then I have continued to make guest appearances in music released in Botswana and South Africa. The video to one of the singles off "The Soprano" titled "HOT 2 Death", now available for viewing in my profile videos, was nominated for a 2006 Channel O African Music Video Award in the category Best African Southern!! And thanks to all those who voted for it, the HOT 2 DEATH VIDEO was crowned BEST VIDEO IN SOUTHERN AFRICA at the Channel O Music Video Awards this year!!!Hot 2 death
