About Me

I'm Joe and I cant spell as my brain won't let me. After I left school all I wanted to do was be in a punk band but I had no one to start one with so the opshens wher, work in a crapy factorey for the rest of my life or go to Colige with the sole perpas of forming a punk band. After 2 short lived atempts at being in angrey, political hard core bands and waching countless bands form with what seamd to be the sole perpas of makeing me misrable I disided I wanted to form some thing I would actualy want to see live. No one telling me im rong cos Im not "right on" inuff. No wingey, art school-angst credability crap. I wanted some thing fast and would atleast put a smile on my face. After draging in Jimmy, who at the time dident eaven like punk but was a friend who could actualy play a guitare (un-like me at this point) and bullying my friends girlfriend into druming for me after she menchend in a drunken conversashen that she liked Screeching Weasel and 2 years a go plaid drums in a school band, the Atoms wer formed. We neaver expected to make it past a fue shows or be liked by any body. The bigist gole we eaver had was that maby one day some fool would let us saport the Groovie Ghoulies (RIP) and the Queers at our local Venue (the Victorea inn). After 8 years, 7 bass players and 4 drumers weve plaid with both of those bands (more than once!), tourd Holland, got on prime time radeo, released a album on a actual record label and are still having an amazing time doing it.

This is Derbyshire Review

If done well, punk can be an exhilarating listen. When done badly, it can be an emotionless pastiche detached from enjoyment or, worse, forever anchored with the horrible prefix of the word 'pop' (hel...
