Hey. We started in 92, have had 9 line up changes, put out 3 albums and 6 EPs and we're stupid enough to keep doing it.OTHER STUFF We've done over 2000 shows all over the UK, Ireland and in France once. We've been on the John Peel show many times and we were the last punk band to be played by him on his show on BBC Radio 1 We've appeared on national BBC1 news, Radio 1 Newsbeat, Radio 5 and even on UK MTV's Alternative Nation a very long time ago. As well as our own Silence Is Deafening Records, We've also been on the following labels: Rugger Bugger, Peer Pressure Productions, Victimas Del Progresso & Irritation Records. We've played with loads of cool bands including J Church, Wat Tyler, Nerf Herder, Mad Caddies, Snuff, Mustard Plug, DRI, Leftover Crack, Broken Bones, Goober Patrol, The Exploited, The Damned, MDC, English Dogs, Oi Polloi, Sloppy Seconds, The Hard On's, DOA, Capdown, Freak's Union, Citizen Fish, Lightyear UK Subs and loads more that we can't remember.REVIEW FROM STFC SWINDON 19 APRIL 2007 Down from Chesterfield for the night the headline act, WORM describe themselves as "three idiots with no talent" and whilst you can't argue with the mathematics of that statement, they soon prove the other facts wrong. They set the pace by firing off an opening bombardment; a crescendo of noise and from here on in there is no letting up. Whilst Nobody's Heroes would prove to be a hard act to follow for many, WORM take it in their stride and offer us another tight, fast and "in your face" set. Theirs is a more contemporary mix of punk sounds and again the 15 years that they have put behind them as a band show in a consummate and professional set. Often front men in three piece bands are tied down in their performance, shackled by the twin roles of vocals and musician, in this case bassist, but not so Danny, in between vocal duties he is tearing around the stage like a man possessed. In fact all three seem to be putting a lot of effort into the show, guitarist Bod sounding bigger than the one guitar that he is armed with, moving effortlessly between rhythm and lead riffs and drummer Mark pounding away at the back stopping only to occasionally stand on his drum stool and banter with the crowd, why…we just don't know. Their unending avalanche of a set contains the right mix of melody and power, tunefulness and full on noise attack as well as some humorous and meaningless sing along backing vocals from Bod that punk often seems to thrive on, a nice touch which shows that although the band may be nothing less than serious about there music, there is still a fun and tongue in cheek element to their work. There were some infectious numbers that made up their set, "Spare Parts" and "Wrong Time to Turn" in particular stood out but the final song "False World Order" which to me sounded like a minor classic was the perfect way to bow out. Things are looking up for this band at the moment, with a series of dates in the US and their fourth album, which I believe is called "If You Can't See The Truth You're Not Looking", just hitting the light of day.
