15.02.08 Cosmic Energy is no longer happening thanks to Dry Bar management being scared of drum and bass and pulling the plug on the event with 2 weeks to go. We just received 5000 flyers. Would have been a good event.....Well look at all my famous friends. Welcome to Myspace. Right let's get this straight. I don't want to burn televisions. I like a bit of telly. But I also know they're full of 'bull-shit-noise' - 'Bull-shit-noise' is a term I coined a few years ago for the massive amount of publicity thrown at our faces everywhere we look every single day. We are the most knowledgeable generation ever. Stop and think about that. Unfortunately, we have so much pointless pointless meaningless rubbish to wade through that it makes our potential position of most aware generation ever that much more difficult. Buy this, dress like britney, what's motherf*****g paris hilton up to now? Buy that. Watch this. Spend spend spend - that is the point of your existence for without consuming new things constantly what else can you do to fill those existential spiritual holes??? Go to work, buy some stuff, go home and watch tv with a frozen meal. Passive existence. You don't even know what it means to be alive! A lot more people are turning off tv and more people are finding that the internet is more interesting. Why? Because it's not dominated by the mass media. It's much more independent, and as a result more open and honest. Only so much of the media on the internet can be manipulated the same way that major news networks, newspapers etc are. But it seems in our decadent western ignorance we don't care and would rather chat about britney and jordan and clothes and jewels and money and soaps and everything else the tv suggests.........But that said, I'll still be watching Utd on Sky tonight ;
