An integral member of the Komedy Kollective Underground Arts Co-operative family, the certifiable clown princes of ultrachaos guarantee to open minds and reconfigure consciousness through music, arts and circus vibes.
Pass the bouncers, through the doors, and you're part of the interactive nightlife experience, the static electricity of the Skewed Circus All Stars zapping your spine to jelly.
From intimate bars and cosy live music venues through to warehouse parties, prepare yourself for a veritable feast of fun rocket propelled by awe-inspiring stunts and ass-kicking choonz. Action packed by distinctive DJs, live rock, punk, hip hop, electro, drum ’n’ bass, rock, punk, dancers, world music, magic and performance art, the Skewed Circus experience is dangerously addictive.
Wherever possible, choreographed dance artists raise tempos and temperatures, Skewed Circus underground cabaret events showcasing both established acts and wonderful new discoveries. Innovation is the lifeblood of Skewed Circus. We don't just feature existing forms of choreographed dance in our performances. Plans are afoot to unleash groundbreaking fusion styles, and experimental installations onto the unsuspecting Northern public.
Endowed with a seriously fun underbelly, our revolutionary arts-nightlife crossover concept is tailor-made to reinvigorate the flacid commercial clubbing scene. Jam-packed with visual fireworks, tainted with interactive tomfoolery, and blessed with a wealth of existing and emerging talent, the only predictable feature of a Skewed Circus event, is the minimal entrance fee and the warm welcome that greets you on arrival. With no dress code (fancy dress, welcome!), no cliquish attitude, and a communal spirit of creative inclusivity, whatever music you listen to, whether you're a student, working, or unemployed, come join the Skewed Circus.
