OFF THE MAP is made by a group of people that decided to re-act towards the extremity of things which occur under the signature of capitalism. By extremity, we mean how awful and indignant living beings are being treated and how outrageous it is to have a conscience in this life while at the same time, not having the freedom we deserve. People are still being treated as slaves for the system, cheated, abused and killed in wars; the animal kingdom is being hunted and used for our "needs", as is the Earth.If we do not stand or act against this oppression, we will either directly or indirectly support the very same things which we claim to fight against, such as wars, CCTV, laws which strip away our freedoms, genocide etc.Communication is the key to resisting the state and its values and with communication the resistance will become much stronger and more powerful than ever. As a group, we believe in self-sufficiency, and every little thing that can lead us there is a revolutionary step to destroying capitalism. We believe that capitalism should be destroyed from within in addition to living self-sufficient and therefore, avoiding capitalisms pitfalls. However, Off the Map fights in the cities, cities from all over the world, making us a worldwide collective connected by cooperative actions.It all starts with how to de-control the system using the creations and mechanisms of capitalism to confuse the eyes of big brother. Living in squats and dumpster diving are great ways to answer the excesses of the minority who live in luxcious apartments and live without any concern the effects of their lifestyle have on people, the plant and the animals. We also promote all kinds of direct action under revolutionary purposes. This does not mean that you have to have political knowledge, just an ethic and a good morality towards others, for example, we would not steal from a small shop run by a family; however, it would be a revolutionary act to steal from a corporation whose money is made from the backs of the poor. It is the large corporations who have blood on their hands, not the small family run businesses.There are other ways of expression than direct action such as, lifestyle choices, boycott large corporations, write zines, flyers, produce music, spoken word, videos, stencils, post stickers made by our own hands sweatstshirts buttons, stickers, wallets and other things made of fabrics.
