Fabrizio Selli

I was born in Milan (IT), where I studied piano and composition, I love classical and jazz music, as well as pop music, I worked as a piano and keyboards player, producer and arranger in many different music environments, recording jingles, soundtracks, dance and electronic records (with Sony Music and Emi) in both Italy and other parts of Europe. In addition to popular sounds, I enjoy composing my "true" music, which is a mix between new age, classical and pop music. I define this mix as soundtracks without movies. The Magic Room is my first solo album. Piano is the main hero, backed by both other keyboards and cello. Ryuichi Sakamoto, Michael Nyman and Lyle Mays are three major inspirational artists for my compositions, as well as Burt Bacharach's songs, Strawinsky, Debussy, Einaudi, Morricone's soundtracks, electronic music.Fabrizio Selli's new single "Gymnopédie No.1 (The Magic Room Version)" is available on iTunes
