A deep trip in the memory: it's "My first secret", the second acoustic album of Gianluca Attanasio. The Italian composer names Yann Tiersen, Michael Nyman, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Chopin as influences. Poetic and melodic, several of the seventeen pieces have the intense impact of a soundtrack (“My first secret”, “Rain on my eyes”, “Another day behind the window”, “Your absence”, “Serenata dal cuore”, “Dolce carillon”). This inspirational Solo piano work is the perfect occasion for people lovers of evocative melodies. “Serenata dal cuore” was composed for His Holiness John Paul 2nd's last birthday. It was performed in the Sala Nervi (Vatican) on may 15th 2004. It was played by “Alessandria Classical Orchestra”, conducted by Mr. Renato Serio.Gianluca Attanasio from 1992 to 1994 he attended the courses of musicology and theatre criticism at Dams University in Bologna. Gianluca graduated in Philophy at Bologna University. He attended the Musical Laboratory of Walter Savelli in Florence where he specialized in modern piano and composition. “Time Music/Aliante Label” produced a few CDs of Pop Music composed and interpreted by him, and orchestrated in collaboration with Geoff Westley, Mike Applebaum, Roberto Guarino, Luciano Torani, Francesco Musacco, ecc... He composed short soundtracks for the “Lavagnino Contest. Gianluca created and carried on a musical project “Harmonia” with Martin Brochard as a singer.. For a few years he has been writing music for the theatre and for dancing performances.
