For those of you who don't know exactly WHO I am or WHAT i do....My name is Prolyfic , most refer to me as Pro (the 1 and most important) , friends know me as Dave . I am a producer from the southside of chicago , I'm 25 born 4/2/81...n i'm a proud 90's baby, baby !...u'd be suprised at how many ppl ask me if i was an artist , or tell me i'm a gd spitter lol...thts lupe fiasco on those records n those are my beats n while i do have the ability to emcee (it's rather easy to me , i won all-city battle rapper 2x's n was runner up 1st yr i entered)...thts not my focus right now .
imo it takes a little more wrk n dedication to become a producer as opposed to your adverage dope boy on the corner passing his time by creatin beatless songs while he "works". so in case you still dnt realize , I AM the guy RESPONSIBLE for keepin Lupe afloat (musically ), during our "struggle period" tht you all have read about ....i like to think of myself n my generation as the LAST tru original hip-hop head gen...at one point in my life i found myself doing EVERY element in hip-hop (Yes ALL 5)! i didn't last long n breakin cuz it kinda came last 4 me , as 4 Djing , tht turned into producing bcuz i was so underground thn tht i couldnt see myself sitting there playing mase at a party lol
Boy have i changed !..i still miss graff , i wrote so much tht whn i blew my nose paint would come out , i think thts wht made me slow down lol. i was a comic artist so i think thts wht made me drift into the world of graff..my tag nm was Cause 1 and sek 2 ( pronounced seak , i used a line over da E)..i ran wit a vicious crew tht pretty much ran shit in da city 4 a 3 yr period . we went by the nm of ill-nature/ i.c.u./ task-force. after the hip-hop scene died down alot of us joined a party cru tht went by the nm of 3993 . those of u tht came to our parties know how we got down =)..so thts a just of things, for info on SOME of the tracks i did on the leak , chk out the july/august 2006 issuse of SCRATCH MAGAZINE . i live by 3 M's : Money , Madden , & Music...so aside from doing music , i dedicate ALOT of time into the HARDCORE MADDEN tourny scene , n i am a active MWS Balla . other than than being the BEST POSSIBLE FATHER to my Child .....i'm just livin' shawwty !.................
