I've been djing for close to 15 years...all during that time I've djed with some of the coolest cats...made a lot of friends and such. Like Dj Head, Houseshoes, Sicari, Primeminister etc. Been at a few spots too...St Andews, Brass Key, Cafe Mohogony and so on and so forth. Also met a lot of people that would become some of hip hops heavy hitters like Slum Village, Eminem, J Dilla, D 12 and so on....so now what...well...I think I'm findeing my nitch with the beats now. It took me a while....but i think i got it. Who were my favorites...oh thats easy...you know Dilla, Pete, Primo, Teck, Diamond D, Lord Finess, Dr Dre, Madlib...just too many to name. Like I said...befor the beats I was a DJ first. Some of my influences were Jazzy Jeff JMJ, Dj Scatch,Primo. I've always had this undieing love for records. You know wax...that flat black things with music on them. Always, ever since i could remember. My moms would tell me when ever we went to somebodys house the first place i went to was that persons record collection. That shit is so funny because i still do that shit. But spinning is my one true love. It's just somthin i get from puttin on that record and makin the crowd go nuts. I've always wanted to be an onair jock. But after going to Specs Howard and doing little fake radio shows and hearing my own voice it was like UGGGHHH!!!!! Plus there's no crowd to feed off of...I cant cut and scratch like i wanna...so maybe this is good enogh...
