Born in the late 80's a golden child struck the world. He was a always a creative son whether it was him writing poetry or building elaborate drawings and forming his own comic strips mimicing Spawn comic books. Growing up, he was raised around Soul, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Rock & Roll, New York hip hop, West Coast Hip Hop, Mid-West Hip Hop & Southern Hip Hop. Taking all this in, plus growing up in the Land of the Lost a.k.a Bangfield a.k.a Springfield, Mass, he became Proph.
Proph, short for prophet, is the name high school students began calling him because the way he talked always sounded like he was prophecising. As soon as he heard NY State of Mind by Nas in '94 thats when he fell in love with HIP HOP. He wrote his first rhyme in 5th grade at age 10 and even then he was raw. Staying infront a television watching BET Rap City expanded his knowledge of other groups like Wu-Tang Clan, Biggie & 2Pac. Constantly writing as a hobby, and humming beats were things he would often do as a child. As time progress, he began to be interested in a new styles of rappin coming out around '97. He began studying Big Pun, Canibus, Ras Kass & Eminem.
Listenin to music also shaped his political views bumping Ice Cube KRS-One & 2Pac. U can say he's Pac-educated. He is also in the process in organizing his own recording company called EastZoo Records
