About Me

Made with the MyTheme myspace editor
Two sister record stores in Athens and Atlanta Georgia who found their niche in the recorded music business by making available locally used and less expensive albums on vinyl, tape, and compact discs. Now 25 years later, wuxtryrecords.com is offering the collective inventory from our three main stores with the same "over-the-counter" service and courtesy maintained in our retail operations. Wuxtry Atlanta Store Hours: Monday - Friday, 11am-8pm Saturday 11am-8pm Sunday 12 noon-6pm Ph: (404) 329-0020 Fax: (404) 248-9679 Location: Wuxtry Records 2096 N. Decatur Road Decatur, GA. 30033 Named by Creative Loafing as "the Best CD Store in Atlanta," Wuxtry is an excellent resource for rare LPs, 45s and 78s, as well as the best in current local and independent releases. Conveniently located near Emory University and the downtown Decatur Marta station, Wuxtry-Atlanta is easily accessible from Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport. Wuxtry Athens Store Hours: Monday - Friday, 10am-7pm Saturday 11am-7pm Sunday 12 noon-6pm Ph: (706) 369-9428 Fax: (706) 548-7703 Location: Wuxtry Records 197 E. Clayton Street Athens, Georgia 30601 U.S.A. The "first of its kind" used record outlet in the southeastern United States, Wuxtry propped open its doors on the main corner of downtown Athens in 1976. Since then Wuxtry Athens as expanded to include the larger storefront next door and Bizarro Wuxtry upstairs. The store has been described as part museum and part hip record store. On any given day, local musicians, students and tourists pass through our doors as do many Athenians seeking special orders ranging from classic jazz and classical recordings to the best in international releases.
