About Me

EP available now! itunes, emusic, or real vinyl! Thanks to everybody who's been coming to the shows lately...we're having a blast!
A little history:
The preakness started as Brandon's lo-fi project in the basement over many years, and since spring of 2006 has evolved to a full band. Thanks to Tracy Clark and Tim Genius, we're in all-out rock mode. We keep it simple, hooky, and to the point, like back in the day when all you needed was a boom box and some duct tape to be an indie rocker. (no tight pants)
About the recordings:
"Demons" and "What They're Saying" were recorded by our friend Matt at Casa de Glagola. Part of the sessions that will eventually spawn a 7" on Eskimo Kiss Records . "This Drive" and "Air Traffic" were recorded to cassette in Brandon's basement and the practice space. They sound a little crappy, but feel free to download and listen over and over in your car on the way to the party.
Thanks for stopping by! We love you more than Ozzy.
