Danny Graham is a name recognised as one of the brightest and hardest working young talents coming through from the UK today combining DJing & production with a radio show, a plethora of guest radio mixes worldwide and managing his own label Tokio Recordings.
Throughout the past few years Danny has DJ’d all over the UK delivering his brand of house & techno which DJ Magazine recently described as "rocking like a muthaf*ucker!" at top nights and festivals across the land. His highlights to date include PunchFunk @ Godskitchen Global Gathering, Ministry of Sound in London and Opera House in Bournemouth, Filth @ Junk in Southampton and Drift in Portsmouth, Electrosexual in Sheffield, Digital & Empathy in Bristol, Stereo Beatbox in Manchester, RiffRaff in Middlesbrough and Prehab @ Turnmills in London.
He is also regularly booked abroad to headline nights in Poland and has made many trips to America, Switzerland, Romania, Hungary, Lithuania and Ireland.
Danny’s productions alongside studio partners Dave Robertson, Rob Mooney and PJ Davy continue to pick up fans with original material and remixes appearing on top labels like Toolroom, EQ Grey, Bass For Breakfast, Benchmarc, PunchFunk, Proton & Adjust.
Support for his music has come from the best DJ’s in the world which has resulted in countless airings on BBC Radio 1 from Fergie & Trophy Twins as well as plays on the radio shows of Hernan Cattaneo and Tom Stephan who also aired a DJ mix of Danny’s to thousands of listeners on Kiss FM.
The present day sees Danny continue his DJing and production and is also now working hard on his new label Tokio Recordings. After managing PunchFunk Records Danny decided it was time to go it alone and Tokio’s debut release by Steve Mill has received critical acclaim culminating in Dave Spoon playing the Bart B More remix twice on Radio 1. Forthcoming material is due from Shafunkers, Chris Cargo, Rob Mooney, Daley Padley, Hypno, James Searles, Asher Rhythm Code, Adam Shaw, Dave Robertson and many more. The label will also provide a platform for the release of Danny’s own exciting hybrid of house sounds.
