Steve Mill, a Greek with a British name, makes music that nods to Detroit and Berlin while equally oozing Mediterranean warmth and serenity.Like many bored teenagers Steve began mucking about with music at the age of 15, despite a lack of musical tuition it turned out he had rather a knack for it.Steve first started garnering interest within the electronic music scene in 2006 with a cheeky mash-up of Madonna’s ‘Frozen’, which caught the attention of Sander Kleinenberg amongst others.Since then, Steve’s ‘Lia’ track has been selected by Renaissance favourite Hernan Cattaneo for his ‘Sequential Vol.2’ mix compilation, and his remix of Djuma Soundsystem’s ‘Les Djinns’ has been touted by heavyweights John Digweed and Nick Warren amongst others..His dj sets focus on uplifting, dance floor friendly tunes that maintain an energetic flow, while ranging from tech house to electro prog vibes. An up and coming producer / dj who has a lot to offer to this scene. So, keep a close eye on this one!
